Palin's 1st Amendment Rights

Meantime, the lady of the hour herself, has wasted no opportunity to put her own foot in her lipstick-lined mouth. Interviewed on radio this morning, Palin said: "'If [the media] convince enough voters that that is negative campaigning, for me to call Barack Obama out on his associations,' Palin told host Chris Plante, 'then I don't know what the future of our country would be in terms of First Amendment rights and our ability to ask questions without fear of attacks by the mainstream media.'" Whuh-huh? Look. lady, let me explain this to you. Here's how the First Amendment works: Ain't nobody stopping you from spreading your stupid lies and spouting off your ignorant suppositions. You can baldly lie all you like-- we'll call that "freedom of speech." And the mainstream media can continue to call you on your lies, and that's called "freedom of the press." Jesus God Almighty, what did they teach in you in your fancy journalism school???

But please, go ahead, Sarah, keep it up. Keep exercising your First Amendment rights, so that the whole world can see exactly what a nasty, lying, conniving, self-serving, ignorant MORON you are.
